SWIS TheSchool-Wide Information System (SWIS) is a web-based progress monitoring software system for collecting and summarizing office discipline referrals in schools.
5 steps to get SWIS • Read SWIS overview • Contact Metro RIP • Complete SWIS Readiness • Complete Discipline Referral Self-Assessment • Complete ODR compatibility checklist • Develop License agreement & school information • Complete SWIS license agreement • Onsite training • On-going technical assistance
Non SWIS Users Schools using their own student information systems are expected to prepare, use and submit the same data reports as those schools using SWIS. Discipline systems and procedures will be reviewed and revised during the first team training sessions.
