Bullying in Education Bullying – being treated unreasonably by someone else, leads to stress and feelings of alienation • Bullying or ‘Firm Management’ – where’s the line? • Usually subtle • Examples of bullying in education • Failing to include staff in meetings or briefings • Regularly making the same person the butt of the jokes around dress, accent, ethnic origin, appearance • ‘Everyone else is keeping up with the work!’ • Managing changes effectively
