Raised on the Texas Gulf Coast Went on backwoods camping trips with his cousins where his Dad and Uncles taught them how to hunt and fish. It was on these trips that they were toldabout their family history and what it meant to be Choctaw. Holds a Masters degree in English from the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on contemporary American Indian Narratives Tells stories about many Native American tribes, not just the Choctaw
