  8. Oh, what a simple WEB we weave • Website maintained by the US. • Working Group pages need to be updated but require input from working groups. • Website template will not be translated. Working groups are responsible for translating only executive summaries of reports. • Website can be a very useful tool for Working Groups.

  9. Oh, what a simple WEB we weave • The Web as A Tool • Post WG documents • Share WG activities • Post your WG tasks and share with fellow WG members • Post upcoming events • Create a directory of fellow scientists, relevant pests, data, etc. • Centralize relevant links

  10. www.fs.fed.us/global/nafc

  11. NAFC’s Database of Contacts • Contacts database contains contact information on NAFC members. • Email updates on NAFC sent to contacts in database. • Liza and Rick will contact working groups to update the web pages and membership in database.

  12. Current Communication Challenges • Updates to the website and to the membership database depend on YOU – the WORKING GROUPS. • No scheduled updates can make it difficult when WG’s want to update the website. We have day jobs. • The Website belongs to you, so let us know what you want to see on there. • WG Meetings – Best places for Rick to bring back updates. • Are Rick, the web, and the membership list enough as resources – what else do you need?
