  2. Over time, there have been many apparitions – or visits from Holy Mary, the Mother of God. The faithful were moved to be more faithful, the un-Churched were moved to mend their ways . . .

  3. There were many who scoffed and laughed. Some had terrible things to say, most failed to believe in the message, the miracles went unbelieved. Some were silent, but believing.

  4. But I wonder how many times in my life, when something needed to be said, did my Mom chide me quietly. How many times did she offer advice and direction on my conduct and my behavior?

  5. And . . . How many times did she step in and help my Father to ease up when I had done wrong? Too many to count, I suspect.

  6. It’s not hard for me to imagine just how often Holy Mary, the Mother of Jesus, whispered softly in God’s Holy Ear to ease up on me . . . When I messed up.

  7. Did your Mom ever talk to your brother about you? Hoping that maybe, just maybe, he might have some influence over how stupid you are acting? Mine did.

  8. I can’t help but wonder if She talked to Jesus about me? And Jesus just said “He’ll be okay – he’s Loved.”

  9. Our world is a mean and brutal place, and Holy Mary the Mother of God has come time and time again to help us to straighten up. We won’t.

  10. It’s a burden on me . . . I wonder if She can stay the Hand of God for another day . . . And just maybe we can get it together.
