Technology Tip #4 PowerPoint me Through This 2 Ways to Blank the Screen: During a presentation your audience will naturally focus on the screen rather than the presenter. To get the audiences attention back on the presenter you could blank the screen during the presentation. Here's how to do it: Type the letter "B" and the screen will go black Type the letter "W" and the screen will go white 1 Way to draw on the screen Right click on the screen and select "Pointer Options" and then "Pen“
Technology Tip #5 Take A Picture of Your Screen To take a screen shot simply press CTRL and Print SCRN/SysRq in the upper right hand corner of your keyboard. Now, open a new document and click CTRL V to paste the item in the document (or right click and paste).

Technology Tip #12 Go to M.I.T. for Free As part of its mission to “advance knowledge and education, and serve the world in the 21st century” the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has decided to put all their courses online for free. They call it Open Course Ware or OCW and the stated goals of the program are: MIT OCW's goals are to: Provide free, searchable, access to MIT's course materials for educators, students, and self-learners around the world. Technology Tip #14 Edit undo, Undo, UNDOOO! Have you ever made a mistake? The programmers of the Microsoft software (Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, etc.) knew we would make mistakes so they programmed in a couple of ways to “undo” them. Here are a few ways to undo your next mistake: OPTION #1: On the menu bar select “Edit” and then “Undo.” OPTION #2: On the tool bar you can use this button to undo something you just did OPTION #3: There's also a keyboard shortcut to undo something you just did. Try using CTRL + Z to undo and CTRL + Y to bring something back that you undid.

There is a way to confirm that your email was delivered and to be informed of when an email was opened by the recipient. This is only going to work in the full version of Microsoft Outlook but other email systems might have similar options.
