There are a lot of countries , there are a lot of capitals. Washington is the capital of the United States of America. And what is in the country America .

  3. The discovery of the U.S.A Were does American History begin? For thousands of years America lay unknown beyond the western sea .Who discovered America? Was its Aristother Columbus or Ancient Norsemen, Vikings, sailing from Greenland five hundred years before him?

Triumth and sadness of the country More than two-hundred-year-old history of the United States is rich in excitement and drama : the trans formation of an untamed land into a mighty industrial power, the growth of a basically English colony into a complex society. There have been moment of triumph and sadness but throughout there also has been remarkable faithfulness to the democratic ideals proclaimed at the nation’s birth.
