  5. Go to www.facebook.com

  6. Provide your first name, last name, email address, password, gender and birthday

  7. Click on ‘Sign up’

  8. You may choose to ‘Find Friends’ or proceed to the next step

  9. Simply click on ‘Skip’ to go to the next step

  10. To add information to your profile, provide your academic background like your school where you finished high school, university, your current employer, the city you currently reside and your hometown

  11. Click on ‘Save & Continue’ to go to the next step

  13. Upload your photo to your personal profile by clicking ‘Upload a Photo’ or simply take a photo of yourself by clicking ‘Take a Photo’.

  14. Click on ‘Save & Continue’ to proceed to the next step

  15. Click on ‘Go to your email’ on the top most portion of your Facebook page to confirm your newly created personal page

  16. Click on the link provided to confirm your account

  18. You now have a Facebook Personal Page.

  21. Go to ‘What’s on your mind?’ section on your Facebook page

  22. After clicking on ‘Post’ your newly posted status, photo, video, place or life event will automatically be shown on your page

  24. On your Facebook page, Click on ‘Upload Photo/Video

  25. Choose the photo that you would like to upload from your computer files

  26. The newly uploaded photo will now be shown in your Photos folder and in your timeline

  27. If you would like to add photos into your profile, simply click on ‘Add Photos ‘ on the upper right portion of your Facebook page

  28. Find and choose the photo that you would like to add to your Facebook profile from your computer

  29. Type in the name of the album and the title of the photo

  30. The photo will now be shown in your timeline

  31. You can also view your newly uploaded photo on your Photos folder on your Facebook page

  33. Click on ‘Upload photo/Upload video on your Facebook page

  34. Choose the video that you would like to upload from your computer files

  35. Wait until the video has been uploaded completely into your Facebook page

  36. After uploading the video completely, you will receive a notification on your window screen and by email that the newly uploaded video is ready to view

  37. Simply wait for the notification to pop up or be sent to your email

  38. After you receive the notification, you can automatically view the newly uploaded video on your timeline

  40. Click on ‘Status’ on your Facebook page

  41. Copy the link from the website from which you will get the link

  42. Paste the link into the status area on your Facebook page. You may choose to add a title of the link if you want

  43. Click on ‘Post’ to publish the external link you just added into your Facebook page. After clicking on ‘Post’ the external link will automatically be viewable on your timeline

  45. Click the settings symbol on the upper right corner of your Facebook page and choose ‘Privacy settings’

  46. Choose the settings that you prefer for your profile, whether you would like it to be public or not and whether you would like your profile to be searchable by the public or not by clicking on ‘Edit’ found across each section
