  2. Hi my name is Shelly Shelf Marker And this is my home My job is to mark the place where a book has been taken off the shelf.

  3. Oh here comes someone now!

  4. I love picture books! Did you know that they are shelved alphabetically? Right now I’m between E Bot and E Bou. It looks like my friend is looking at a Franklin book.

  5. If you don’t want the book then place it back where you have your shelf marker. Now pull me out and take me to the next book you want to look at.

  6. In the library there are also fiction “chapter” books… And non fiction or “number” books. Looks like I’m headed to the non-fiction section!

  7. What’s this…a 500 book in the 700’s! That makes the book very sad. You see every book has its own home. Here let me show you.

  8. The shark books are 597.3 and the comic books and graphic novels are 741.5. When books are on the shelf in the right spot they feel loved just like you do when you are with your family.

  9. In the fiction section you will find the chapter books. They like to be in alphabetical order bu author’s last name. See Diary of a Wimpy Kid’s home is F Kin and Captain Underpants lives at F Pil Here let me show you!

  10. Place your shelf marker next to the book you want to look at. If you want the book then take me with you to the checkout counter
