  16. State-wide Honors Review Timeline • 2013-2014: • Fall, 2013 - Implementation of new Honors Rubric • Feb/March, 2014 - First cohort portfolio submission & review • Spring, 2013 - Second cohort notified

  17. State-wide Honors Review Timeline • 2014-15: • Second cohort portfolio submission & review • Third cohort notified • 2015-16 • Third cohort portfolio submission & review • Three year LEA review process begins again

NCDPI Submission Process for Review: Electronic • NCDPI is developing a secure electronic submission process that will be ready for use by the LEAs in the Fall, 2013. • The Honors Rubric may be used to start the honors portfolio process in the LEA • 2013-14 (First) Cohort will receive specific instructions and support in the fall semester
