Example: • Suicide • Emile Durkheim • Egoistic • Altruistic • Anomic – Anomie = loss of direction, don’t know where to go, lawlessness, • Fatalistic • Found higher rates of suicide who were protistants vs. Catholics, single rates higher than married, children or don’t have children
