FACULTY AND AP EMPLOYMENT PROCESS FLOWCHART Hiring Approval Form is completed Select an Inclusion Advocate Position announcement, ad copy & recruitment plan submitted to HR. Human Resources HR & AA review and approve position announcement recruitment plan & ad copy. Affirmative Action Position is posted and ads are placed by department. Search training conducted if necessary. Search committee reviews applications & submits approval to interview to dean/appointing officers. Dean/Appointing Officer submits approval to interview to HR. Human Resources HR & AA review and approve interview pool. Affirmative Action Interviews. Search chair submits selection request to dean/appointing officer. Human Resources After approval, Dean/Appointing Officer submits selection request to HR. Affirmative Action HR reviews & approves Selection request & forwards to AA & VP for final approval. Appointing Officer Provost/VP notifies dean/appointing officer of approval. Employment offer made by dean/appointing officer. Appointment letter completed and sent by dean/appointing Officer. Candidate accepts offer. Candidates notified that the search is completed.
