  6. DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE Discounts Available • Family discount of $1,000 for two children • “SCRIP” • You buy gift cards and receive 50% of the profit • EXAMPLE: If you buy $100 of Speedway gift cards and their profit equates to $4.00. You receive $2.00 towards your child’s tuition

  7. Scholarships • We have over $55,000 in scholarships to offer • To Qualify you MUST PROVIDE • Scholarship List • Identify what you are applying for • Additional Requirements • Essay – See Top of Form • Copy of 2017 taxes (if need-based) • All Proper Documentation

  8. Scholarships • List of Scholarships - Marked • Only need 1 essay (except for scholarships with specific guidelines) • Essay should have a cover page with the student’s name and the name of the scholarship(s).

  9. Additional Requirements • Some Scholarships Require • Additional Essay • TYPE IT • PROOFREAD IT • USE PROPER WRITING STRUCTURE • NAME ONLY ON COVER SHEET OF ESSAY • Letter of Recommendation • TEACHER • COACH • AVOID PARENT LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

Financial Aid • We give over $120,000 in Financial Aid • Not the same as Gary Diocesan Aid • You can get both • If you attend a Gary Diocesan Parish, you must apply for their aid if applying for BNI aid. • Forms you MUST submit FACTS Form • www.dcgary.org • Copies of your 2017 Federal Income Tax Form • BNI financial aid online https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3XV07

  15. Financial Aid and Scholarships • When will you know if you received Financial Aid or Scholarships? Letters stating your status will be mailed in March.

  16. REGISTRATION • Registration Night – Wednesday, March 21st 6:00 – 7:30 PM • Should take about 30 minutes • Select your schedule • $200 non-refundable fee • Please note – you can register anytime after March 21st . However, the freshman class will be closed at 160 students.

  17. Indiana School Choice Program • You may be eligible to have the state of Indiana pay for some of your tuition. • Family income must meet state requirements • Must be accepted by BNI • Applications done by BNI • Must turn in copy of 2017 Taxes • Service hours and Fundraising
