Data is compared to determine: • If the drug requires a prior authorization • If the prescription meet the requirements for prior authorization THIS DOES NOT CHECK OR VERIFY THE PATIENT’S ELIGIBILITY FOR MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR THIS DRUG

  18. CyberAccess: PAs on File • Displays the drug prior authorizations the patient has on file. • For each Prior Authorization the following are shown: • Authorization number • Status • Drug name • Start and end dates • Quantity • Days supply • Refill

CyberAccess: Fax a Request for a PA • The user will receive either a message of transmission complete or fax failed. • At this point, two options are available to the user: • New Script – which clears the e-prescribe screen and allows the user to create a new prescription to check approval • Print Notes – which prints the notes displayed in the Notes field
