  2. What is the Green Office Program? This program encourages offices on campus to learn and participate in sustainable practices. The goal of the program is to increase environmental awareness and reduce our carbon footprint as a University through friendly competition between offices.

  3. How does it work? • Participating offices earn credits in different categories. • Certification at five levels: • Bronze (8+ Credits) • Silver (12+ Credits) • Gold (16+ Credits) • Green (20+ Credits) • Evergreen (2-4 Semesters at Green)

  4. 4 Distinct Categories, 24 Possible Credits: • Energy • 2 Prerequisites • 8 Possible Credits • Waste & Recycling • 2 Prerequisites • 8 Possible credits • Purchasing • 2 Prerequisites • 3 Possible Credits • Kitchens • 0 Prerequisites • 5 Possible Credits

  5. What if our office can’t complete certain credits? • Above and Beyond Credits • “Innovation Credits” • Number can not exceed 25% total credits before A&B Credits
