  2. Questions : • Why do we need earthquake alarm? • How can we make earthquake alarm? • Can we make earthquake alarm at home?

  3. Materials required to make Earthquake alarm: • Cardboard's • 9 volt cell • Led • Switch • Buzzer • Metal nuts bolts • Jumping Wire

  4. Procedure : • Glue the base using cardboard. • Arrange the wire as design. • Solder switch, buzzer and led. • (Note: Buzzer and led passes electricity only in one direction. So solder in a way that current passes through buzzer and led. Otherwise led will not glow or buzzer will not sound.) • As all arrangement is completed put the switch on and shake the project.

  5. Observation : • When we shake the project then led light glows and buzzer is sound. • This alarms us about Earthquake. • Note : If buzzer do not sounds then this means you have solder It in opposite way. And same goes with led.

  6. Conclusion : • Now we can make an earthquake alarm easily at home. • This alarm helps us to be alert and protect our self from earth quake. We can simply go to safe location as alarm sounds. • Earthquake alarm project helps us to increase our interest in science. • It also helps us in science works.

  7. Research : • There are lots of smart phone apps that also alerts us form earthquake. • We can also make some manual system tat alerts us from earthquake.
