iStation Testing on September 25, 2017

The iStation testing will be conducted in the MAC lab. On September 26, 2017, an introduction to Memoir/Narrative Writing Unit will take place, followed by listening to "The Great Rat Hunt" by Laurence Yep. The focus will be on discussing chronological order, sequencing, and keeping track of chronology in a chart. Memiors are due on October 6, 2017.

  3. September 27, 2017 • DEAR Time! For 15 minutes! • Begin brainstorming on a timeline • Ensure everyone is logged in to Google Classroom • Ensure everyone has taken the survey

  4. September 28, 2017 • DEAR Time! Read for 15 minutes! • Quick write about 3 of the most interesting topics you brainstormed about yesterday • Read to group • Discuss layout of 1st draft

  5. September 29, 2017 • Go to library; each class will go for 10 minutes to find a book, check a book in, or re-check a book • Complete 1st draft • Group edit/revise • Rewrite on lined paper • Include clauses and figurative language
