  2. Introduction The American alligator is the largest reptile in american and have large black slightly round body and thick limbs. Unlike the crocodile, the alligator has a broad head . The alligator use its powerful tail to propel itself through water. Its tail is half of it lenght

  3. Diet The American alligator mainly eats fish, bird, turtles, various mammals and other reptile

  4. Habitat The American alligator live in ponds, wetlands, rivers and swamps

  5. Threats Alligators today are threatened for habitat loss and encounters with people. Their hunt for their skin for leather goods and their meat. In 1970 10 million alligators were killed for their skin

  6. Conclusion We can conserve them for future generations to appreciate them once again.
