BUDGET 2013 • BACKGROUND • a) 3-year rolling budgets • b) 2 major variables: • deanery share • number of people • c) Provision for Mission Development Funding • £150k in each of 3 years
BEYOND 2013 2 major variables: Deanery share - target an annual increase in total Deanery Share of no more than 3% (or, if necessary, inflation if this is higher). 2020 Deployment - A decision of Bishop’s Council to aim to maintain the number of people at current levels and to keep to this number in future.

PCC accounts analysis • Analysis work continues on 2011 accounts • 70% received so far (85% for 2010) • without exceptional items, net deficit on unrestricted funds £260,000 • £16.6million in unrestricted/restricted funds

Where are we? North -12%, South +9% (£70k) Those parishes helped – Thank you but it’s not enough! Howls from larger parishes – we can’t go on like this! Deficit North £13k, South £45k 100% target Affecting parishes ability to fund own ministry 2020 - maintaining current ministry levels depends on share payment
