Status of the Process, Fall 2012 Preparation of first draft in Summer 2012, with report submitted to President’s Cabinet on 8/31 First public draft posted on October 8 and is available for review http://www.oneonta.edu/middlestates/ Also a survey link for feedback https://helpdesk.oneonta.edu/survey/entry.jsp?surveyId=1314798249007 Feedback can be turned in until November 12th Steering Committee prepares final self-study draft, 11/12 – 1/13 College sends final draft of self-study to MSCHE and team, 2/13

  4. Open MeetingWednesday, October 17 The purpose of this meeting is to review and discuss the public draft Will be held from 3-5 p.m. in Otsego Grille Will include a brief presentation by the Steering Committee followed by small group discussions organized by the 6 work groups

  8. What Happens on Team Visit? • Team arrives on Sunday, March 17 • Conducts campus interviews with individuals and groups on Monday & Tuesday • Team chair provides report-out on Wednesday morning to campus community

  9. What Can They Do To Us Anyway? • Reaffirm accreditation (that’s the best one!) • Reaffirm accreditation and request that PRR address specific issues that need attention • Reaffirm accreditation and request a progress letter • Reaffirm accreditation and request a monitoring report (team visit may follow) • Warn institution accreditation may be in jeopardy and request monitoring report (visit will follow) • Postpone decision on accreditation and request supplemental information report
