Discussed Issues • Name:International Network of Young Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons • The Network is formed by surgeons in training or in early stages of their professional careers, with practices in different countries worldwide, united by the shared interest of promoting exchange of ideas and experiences.

  5. Aim of the Network • To learn from the experiences of others • To research into the current status of the specialty and the likely trends that it will follow • To ensure the survival of the specialty in the future • To facilitate access to quality training for trainees worldwide • Focus on novel forms of educational opportunities

  6. Structure It would be flat, flexible and open but with a stable core. This stable core must be defined, as, at least a few, will have certain responsibilities such as organizing meetings, taking care of the facebook or linkedin profile, etc.
