Matt. 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matt. 4:19 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

  4. Choose Your Attitude • Change your mindset, or the way you think • Clichés • “God is in Control” • “God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.” • “By His stripes I am healed”

We must change our way of thinking, and let these words began to shape our actions.   • These words must move from the conscious mind to the subconscious mind. • In the subconscious is where there is reaction to a situation without thinking. • It becomes part of who you are.  It is now a part of your lifestyle. • These are not just words, but they began to shape who you are.  They have become “Rhema (living words), or words to live by. There is also power behind these words.

  8.  It takes 21 days to create a new habit. •  It takes another 21 days to strengthen your resolve to embed that habit so your poor habits cannot overpower it. Note: This should be done through prayer and meditation as you are uncovering negative thoughts and habits that compete with the new truths you have learned. • It takes a final 21 days to make your new habit part of your DNA forever (Unconscious Mind) forever.

  10. Choose to change your thinking You can’t do anything anyway.  Even Jesus while he was here on earth couldn’t do it. He was God in the flesh, but He limited what He could do, so He could show us how it is done.

  12. The Father was the one doing the work. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.2 Corinthians 5:18‭-‬19 KJV

  13. Understanding the power of the Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.   But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.Acts 1:7‭-‬8 KJV

  14. Is this your power yours to control, and do ministry?   • Certainly not! So how does having the Holy Ghost give you power to be witnesses?   • You can’t control the Holy Ghost.

  15. What is your witnessing power? • The only power that you have been given is the power to choose.   • Choose to submit to the Holy Ghost • Choose to Believe • Choose to trust • Choose to depend on God • Choose to think the way God thinks

  16. Since I can’t do the work; then we must choose to let Him do the work through me. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.Philippians 2:13 KJV Now make a habit of listening to the Holy Ghost instructions for evangelism.

  17. Play - The fish guys have fun while they work, and fun is energizing and stimulates creativity. How could we have more fun and create more energy?

  18. Use humor to make people feel included. • Invite (not demand) staff or members to join in fun activities. • Know your team’s boundaries. (know them that labor among you. • Experiment with new ideas to improve results. • See mistakes as an opportunity to learn.

  19. Children are creative in their play. A cardboard box becomes a castle.  A scrap piece of wood becomes a ship or a car. Because a child is full of wonder and imagination of what could be.

  21. Make their day The fish guys include the customers in their good time. They engage their customers in ways that create energy and goodwill. Who are our customers and how can we engage them in a way that will make their day? How could we make each other’s days?

  22. “It’s just Nice to be Nice” • Give a smile away everyday.   • We’re all drawn to happiness. A study at Harvard tells us that emotion is contagious. • Studies by psychologists show that we register smiles faster than any other expression. All it takes is 500 milliseconds (1/20th of a second). • A smile opens the door to conversation which in turn allows you to witness one on one.

  23. Random Acts of Kindness Because we are on the job for the kingdom twenty four seven; we are constantly looking for opportunities to show God's love

  24. Be There - The fish guys are fully present at work, focused on what others need from them. What can they teach us about being there for each other and our customers?

  25. Be aware of others’ needs. • Turn off electronics and email. • Listen to understand. • Clear your mind of judgments. • Be emotionally present.Every day is a gift from God and an opportunity to be about the Father’s business of winning souls.
