Question of the day……… What would make a monarch of this time period (1550-1700) want absolute power?

What Makes them Absolute Monarchs? • Power comes from God • All King’s laws are to be Obeyed • King is above the law, rules in any fashion they see fit and what suites them • Only they can change rules and only they can do as they wished
