2. Be as the Bereans • Acts 17:11 Be like them who had noble character, received the message with eagerness, and examined the scriptures every day to see if what you hear is true.

3. Genesis 1:1 • “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

4. The Original Sin • Genesis Chapter 3 • Side note- a Biblical husband studies his wife to find out what she needs even prior to the need arising • Setting is a trial • The Judge is God • Guilty parties being sentenced: Adam, Eve, and the serpent (Satan).

5. Lets Read…Genesis 3:8-15 • 8Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring a and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

7. Abraham Saw My Day • Genesis 22 Abraham answer’s his son Isaac’s question with this profound statement. • Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” • OR MORE LITERALLY God will provide Himself as the Lamb. Making it Clearer • I Peter 1:18-21 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. chosen before the creation of the world
