Don’t worry every one, I have come to inform the world about myself. A MESSAGE FROM THE MENTOR… Now let’s talk about me like all my books… then I can tell you all my opinions and the adventures that I have had. You want to know about me right? That’s why you’ve opened this link! Now who’s better to tell you about me, then me? I’m not going to be bias about anything, I promise, so read on! See the whole world, okay studio audience, must know about my accomplishments, that’s why I made the banner http://youtu.be/Qut5mNZQMqM
Chapter 1: A Step Closer to me, Ellen DeGeneres Welcome to my new book! I hope all you reading this are “Ellen lovers,” because those are the only people that I write for. All you haters out there can just stop reading now. Or you can stay for a laugh, but I won’t personally try and influence you to like me. I just hope you do end up liking me. I am Ellen DeGeneres and I don’t love to use quotes. I am not that kind of writer. I prefer just acting like I’m talking to my readers and if I end up using a quote, it is only for something I said or something other people have said, that I feel necessary to quote. Quotes are time consuming and trying to come up with what a character should say is so strenuous, so I generally don’t use them. You can forget me ever using statistics too. I am a call it like I see it kind of person and I don’t get caught up in the numbers behind things. I just know my opinion on something and don’t need to know the professional’s opinions (they are overrated anyways).
Chapter 2: Words from the Fans Lately I have been receiving emails from my manager telling me to share some of the letters, good and bad, that I have received. So, here they are Eric: Dear Ellen, I think you are fantastic. You always make me laugh and I never want to put your book down! You are such an amazing writer and you really connect with the readers like me. I love you and I’m so glad that I can call you my role-model. You never let anything stop you from doing what you want or believe in. I look up to you and one day, I hope to be as strong as you are. Thank you for everything! -Bethany W. “DeGeneres's amiably oddball riffs on everything from kale to catwalks to Jesus will make fans smile.” -People Magazine “Fans will not be disappointed. This hodgepodge...displays throughout the author's gift for capturing the absurd hilarity of internal monologue...[DeGeneres's] trademark wit and openness shine through.” -Kirkus Reviews Ellen! I love that your writing is so easy to read. Your word choice, when it’s your normal and not made up slang, is simple and it’s as if I’m having a conversation with you. Maybe it is a little on the informal side, but it’s very accurate to your personality and make you that much more interesting of a writer. I love your word arrangement and diction, never change it!!!!! -B. Waldvogel Hey Ellen, Stop thinking using hasty generalizations. Not every one has too much lotion. But really? Of all the fallacies you could have used, you used hasty generalization and put me in with the lotion lovers? Try using another fallacy for a change! -BW My dear lovely Ellen, You use pathos so well darling! You had me laugh and practically crying the entire time I was reading. Keep up the good work and spread that humor of yours. It’s as spreadable as butter on bread. -B
THE END Well that was a short book.
