Vision Statement • Provide Excellent Emergency Response and Fire Prevention to Protect people, programs, facilities, and our community from the adverse effect of fire, natural and manmade disasters, release of hazardous material and industry injuries within the aviation communities and beyond.

Mission Statement • PROVIDE EXCELLENT EMERGENCY RESPONSE, AIRCRAFT RESCUE & FIRE FIGHTING TRAINING TO FIRE SERVICE AND EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WITHIN THE PACIFIC ISLANDS REGION MEETING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRAINING STANDARDS • TO DEPLOY THESE SERVICES IN A RESPONSIVE, COST EFFECTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE MANNER THAT ASSURES CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.

  11. Video Training and conferencingProgram MOA with FAA to provide: • Delivery of Distance learning. • Two Training Course session a month. • Airport to Airport Technical Assistance. • Example: (Trouble- Shooting of ARFF Vehicle Through visual session )

  12. Maintenance and OperationProgram MOA with FAA • Establish a Standardize Building Maintenance Guidelines for Palau , FSM and Majuro. Purpose: - Maintain and upkeep of the ARFF buildings. • Ensure routine maintenance and monitoring of all ARFF equipments. • Follow accepted Standard Operating Procedures.

  13. NIMS • ON February 28, 2003 ,the President issued Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-5, Management of Domestic Incidents, Whichdirects the Secretary of Homeland Security to developed and administer a National Incident Management System (NIMS).

  14. NIMS • FAA REQUIREMENT • AIRPORTS RECEIVING FAA FUNDING • CPA SPONSORSHIP ( NIMS ON-LINE CERTIFICATION) • NON- US CITIZEN. • ON-LINE ACCESS (INDIVIDUAL PIN NUMBERS)
