  2. Do Now After killing Curley’s wife, Lennie realizes he made a mistake. He runs to the clearing where the story began. Do you agree with George’s decision after he arrived in the clearing? Why or Why not?

  3. Information • Journals and Do Nows - due today - late submissions = lost points • OMAM Study Guides - worth 100pts - due Tuesday • OMAM book should be complete - if not, get your reading done over the weekend.

  4. Eminent – (adj.) outstanding, distinguished Synonyms – distinguished, elevated, grand Antonyms – inferior, unimportant George and Lennie worked on an eminent ranch in the Salinas Valley.

  5. Exorcise – (v.) to drive out or dispose of Synonyms – dismiss, expel, purge Lennie quickly exorcised the death of Curley’s wife from his mind.
