Culture • means the behaviours and beliefs characteristic of a particular social, ethnic, or age group language, colour, set of behaviour: the youth culture; the drug culture ,values ,tradition etc…( DICTIONARY.COM) Why we do not accept cultural difference? • its impact on values, attitudes and behaviours • Culture and country shock • Stereotypes and perceptions • Expectations and reality • Difference in Communicating

Over view of Two Class room environment Lahore (Pakistan) Toronto(Canada) Lack of adaptation Unable to focus on aims of acquiring Knowledge Suffering from depression Problems between families Students need more independence more than their cultural beliefs Confused which culture they should own Dual thinking make their mind to blow off Behavioural disturbance • Lack of Resources • Political disturbance • Economical stress • Family Environment • Unable to focus on aims of acquiring Knowledge • Cultural or Language • Lack of conceptual learning • Knowledge for the sake of Job • Behavioural disturbance

Lesson Plan. some time in my lesson plan to get students to think about their aim in life. • Observatory Report writing( Teacher) It helps me to get an idea of what’s going on in class room • Direct Instructions • Discussions • Peer Learning • Group Assignments • Changing Seating Arrangement • Role play It involves with visual learning which helps in concept formation. • Field Trip Games or outdoor activates can bring students closer • Story Writing (,predict , analyze ,problem solving) They can share some true stories with full confidentiality and that information remain with me only ,it helps me to analyze student’s needs , differences etc

Teaching Methods in Cross cultural Classroom in Saskatchewan (In consideration of First Nation people) • Personal philosophy of students • Student journal writing • Try to follow Three “ T”s of Sk Curriculum Transmission, Transaction,Transformation of Knowledge • Peer Learning • Co curricular Activities • Activities like i.e. different type of expression of saying HELLO in their own languages, festivals, sharing basic food tastes etc…. • Role play • Group assignments • Group discussions etc
