Importance of Gifted & Talented • Students are able to work in a collaborative, creative environment in which they demonstrate critical thinking skills across the curriculum. • Provides students (who have demonstrated a need) with additional learning opportunities. • Challenged in critical Common Core areas.

  4. Entrance Criteria(Grades 3-5) • Teacher Recommendation • OLSAT (Grade 2) • NJ-ASK (Grades 3 and 4) • Math and LAL • Report Card Grades

  5. Units of Study(Grades 3-5)

  6. Communication • Mid Marking Period Progress Report (if necessary) • End of Marking Period Progress Report (all G&T students) • Project Completion • Participation • Responsibility • Critical Thinking • Phone Call or Meeting (as necessary)
