How can you glorify God? Fellowship Witnessing Worship Day-to-day living Reading His Word Prayer Self-Sacrifice Obedience
Why Should I… Fellowship? Witness? Worship? Live Day-to-day? Read His Word? Pray? Self-Sacrifice? Obey?
John 1 He is Eternal I am Mortal Romans 5:12b “and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” • John 1:1 “In [the] beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” New Way: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
He is the Creator I am Created Gen 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” • John 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” New Way: 2Co 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
He is the Light I am in Darkness Rom 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death;” Job 12:24 “They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.” • John 1:4 “In him was life; and the life was the light of men” New Way: Mat 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
John 3:16 • John 3:16-20 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”
He is Announced Eternal God Creator Light • John 1:6-7 “There was a man sent from God whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light…” • John 1:10 “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” • John 1:11 “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”
Who Christ is and What He Did: • Philippians 2:6-11 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Do You Hear? Rev 13:8-9 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. Specifically, Those Who Don’t Accept Now!
