Part Two: Macroeconomics and the US Economy • Why: because the economy affects your prospects for finding and keeping a job, the interest rate you pay on loans, and the return you get on your investments • What: There are two ways to measure the size of an economy, National Income and National Expenditure or GDP (circular flow).
