  2. Similarities between Uganda and Cyprus • Uganda and Cyprus were under British occupation during 19th and 20th century. Cyprus gained her independence from Britain in 1960 and Uganda in 1962. • British occupation left some habits to these countries like driving on the left site of the street. • Also: have the same system of government, “presidential democracy” • similar climate • most of the citizens in Cyprus and in Uganda are Christians.

Similarities between Germany and Cyprus • Germany and Cyprus are members of the European Union, have the same currency (euro) and the domain religion is Christianity. • In addition, there are some common habits: both countries produce and love beer and sausages! • Organize carnival festival where participants criticize the politicians. Another common habit is the “Wine festival”, where people enjoy many liters of wine and have fun.

Egypt gained her independence from Britain in 1937 and Cyprus in 1960. • Also, two countries have similar climate and are famous for the oil production and viniculture. Besides, we have the same time zone.
