ENGINE BUILDING INDUSTRY JSC «AVTODIZEL» GROUP «GAZ» • Russia leading designer and manufacturer of multipurpose diesel engines rated 150-800 hp • Number of employees is about 8 800 people • Annual output is about 60 000 engines • Market Share of «Avtodizel» in Russia and CIS-countries is 65% Government of the Yaroslavl region

ENGINE BUILDING INDUSTRY NPO «SATURN» Number of employees: 13 000 people R&D personnel more than 4600 employees NPO Saturn is a leading engine-building company specialized in development, manufacture and after-sales service of gas-turbine engines for military and civil aviation, Navy ships, power-generating and gas-pumping units Government of the Yaroslavl region

COOPERATION WITH INDIA THE AL55 AIRCRAFT ENGINE DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION PROGRAM The AL-55I is the leading design in the AL55 model series The AL-55I engine is developed by NPO Saturn under the international contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited d/d August 1, 2005 for the HJT-36 jet trainer of the Indian Air Force On May 9, 2009 HAL Corporation carried out first flight of HJT-36 with AL-55I engine that was the start of flight certification tests Organization of the AL-55I licensed serial production in India is the second stage of the program Government of the Yaroslavl region AL-55I engine HJT-36

  12. OIL REFINING INDUSTRY The largest oil refining plant in the Northern Part of Russia. Refinerycapacity is 15,2 mln. tonsof hydrocarbons per year Production range of the plant includes more than 100 items «SLAVNEFT –YAROSLAVNEFTEORG-SINTEZ» (Oil Refinery Plant) Number of employees: 5000 people An up-to-date complex for oil deep refinery was built, that enabled to enhance the process of refinery up to 66% and to increase the output of light oil Government of the Yaroslavl region

CHEMICAL INDUSTRY • Yaroslavl Tyre Рlant • «SIBUR Russian Tyres» Group Number of employees: over 3 000 people • The largest tyre plant in the Central part of Russia • 400 000 tyres per year • Specializes in production of auto tyres with steel wire cord in breaker, truck all-steel tyres, light truck tyres and aviatyres • Quality management system corresponds to international standard ISO9001 Government of the Yaroslavl region

COOPERATION WITH INDIA • Yaroslavl Tyre Рlant • «SIBUR Russian Tyres» Group • In 2006 - 2007 Yaroslavl Tyre Plant directly delivered to India aviatyres for the IL, TU, AN types of aircraft made in Russia • From 2007 until now India continues to purchase aviatyres for civil and military aircraft manufactured by Yaroslavl Tyre Plant through distributor companies or Rosoboronexport • At the moment the negotiations between SIBUR Group and Indian automobile company Tata Motors are under way on delivery of Russian auto tyres for Indian cars Government of the Yaroslavl region

  15. SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY • “Yaroslavsky • Shipbuilding Рlant” • “Rybinsk shipbuilding yard” • Shipbuilding plant “Vympel” • “Nobel Bros. Shipyard” LLC • OJSC "Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant“ manufactures vessels for both civil and military purposes building vessels of any difficulty level - from small patrol boats to large sea and river going vessels of displacement up to 2000 tons • fishery and fishery protection vessels • drill vessels for developing oil-and-gas offshore deposits • oil and river tankers for oil products and edible fats • river and seagoing high-speed passenger vessels • high-speed patrol boats • amphibian patrol hovercrafts Government of the Yaroslavl region

CHEMICAL INDUSTRY JSC “Russian coatings” Number of employees: 850 people The largest supplier of automotive OEM coatings in Russia At the beginning of 2006 JSC “Russian Coatings“ and global manufacturer DuPont created a joint venture «DuPont Russian Coatings LLC» The joint venture carries out manufacturing, marketing and sales of coatings for the Cars and Vehicles OEM Industry in Russia and other CIS countries Government of the Yaroslavl region

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES • High-performance • SUPERCOMPUTER • “SKIF-1000” Performs at least 1 trillion operations per second • Designed by the Program Systems Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Pereslavl-Zalessky - one of the leaders of Russian science in the sphere of modern Information Technologies • Can be used for solving any tasks which require high-performance computing in industry, biotechnologies, • medicine and geological surveys • Is the most powerful of all the computing systems installed on the territory of Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe Government of the Yaroslavl region
