  3. BizTEC’05 - Timetable April 10th June 7th • Deadlines: • Apr 10th – Last day to submit Executive Summaries • June 7th – Last day to submit Business Plans March 9th Kick-of March 27th Workshop I April 17th Semi-finals May 1st Workshop II June 19th Finals

  4. Semi Finals – April 17th • Ten groups will be selected to the finals • 10 best Executive Summaries • A mentor will be allocated for the selected groups • Submission & Judging Timeline • Apr 10 – Last day to submit proposals • Apr 12 – Judging committee gathering (select 10 best ES, assign mentors) • Apr 17 – Semi finals

Finals – June 19th • Winning Teams will be announced • Selection will be done according to business plans and presentation • Submission & Judging Timeline • June 7th – Last day to submit proposals • June 14th – Judging committee gathering, BP presentations • June 19th – Finals, Announce winners

  6. Workshops • Two Workshops - March 27th & May 1st • Themes • Entrepreneurship Matters • The Do’s and Don'ts of Entrepreneurship • March 27th • Executive Summary Essentials and Intellectual Property Issues • Yossi Sela – Gemini • Ehud Housman – Reinhold Cohn Group

  7. Mentoring Program • Ten Groups chosen in Semi-finals will be required to submit • Business Plan • Presentation • Mentors • Experienced professionals from the VC and Hi Tech Industry • Will be personally to assist each group

  8. Judging • Judging Committee • Seven Judges – representing the Technion, the VC industry, TechIA Adv board • Assemble a number of times to asses proposals • Judging criteria – available in the registration kit
