  2. Actuality Annual global financial losses from corrosion are estimated as $2.2 trillion, which appears to be from 2.0 to 6.0% of national GNPs. In particular, last year the losses totaled: - $442 billion in the USA, - $94 billion in Germany, - $51 billion in Russia.
