  1. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy for Hair Restoration? What is PRP treatment? Platelets are a component of blood, along with red and white blood cells. When a person sustains a cut or wound, the platelets are some of the body's "first responders" that arrive to stop the bleeding and promote healing. To produce PRP, a medical professional will take a blood sample and put it into a machine called a centrifuge. This machine spins at a rapid rate, which separates the components of the blood. The medical professional then extracts the platelets for injection. PRP contains a range of growth factors and proteins that speed tissue repair. As some types of hair loss result from damage to hair follicles. Dermatologist use this treatment for hair loss problem from androgenetic alopecia, a common condition that causes hair follicles to shrink. In males, this is called male pattern baldness. 1.How many sessions are required for result? For best results, consistency is key. PRP hair Treatments are typically performed once a month for the first three or four months, and then every three to six months thereafter, depending on the individual client’s response and results. Following this protocol, anticipated results can first be seen within two or three months. Visible change can see after 3 to 4 sessions 2. Is this treatment being suitable for facial skin also? The same technique is used for skin treatment also for different indications for example hyper pigmentation, skin dryness, post acne scars. PRP enables the collagen grown by the body and stimulates it to engineer total facial rejuvenation instead of focusing on one wrinkle at a time. It is also used to stabilize the faces which look tired, aids in filling up hollowed cheeks, skin tone improvisation, making the skin tight and smooth, and fill in the skin areas which the hyaluronic acid either cannot fill either due to lack of reach or reactionary issues. 3.Is there any side effect of this treatment?

  2. The good news is that PRP contains your own blood, so there’s little chance of cross-contamination or infection. If you have a history of herpes simplex, or cold sores, it’s also possible that you may have an outbreak from having this procedure done. Let your provider know if you’ve ever had cold sores.
