It was on the solemnity of Christ the king in 1962 when Monsignor Allen was ordained a priest. Today we come together to celebrate Monsignor Allen’s Golden Jubilee!!. Monsignor Allen has served the parishes of Sacred Heart, Gorton. Saint Dunstan’s in Moston.

  1. It was on the solemnity of Christ the king in 1962 when Monsignor Allen was ordained a priest

  2. Today we come together to celebrate Monsignor Allen’s Golden Jubilee!!

  3. Monsignor Allen has served the parishes of Sacred Heart, Gorton

  4. Saint Dunstan’s in Moston

  5. And of course Our Lady of Grace, Prestwich

  6. Monsignor Allen has helped to guide staff and pupils in our school and has given his support in so many ways

  7. In celebrating the Blessed Sacrament

  8. Monsignor Allen led a special prayer service at the commemorative rock in Heaton Park

  9. As a school we came together to show our respect when Pope John Paul II died

  10. He joined us on our school trip to Rome

  11. Monsignor Allen has also served our school as a Governor – guiding our school to achieve the best for all who learn and work here

  12. ‘You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last ……’John 15:16
