  1. Visual Arts Oral Assessment task Stamp It Critical and Historical Studies By Caitlin Winder and Bella Gane

  2. Task 1 Art Making Practice One Bonnard Nannies' Promenade, Frieze of Carriages questions. a. How many people can you find? We found 8 people. b. How many animals can you see? We could see 12 animals c. Do any of them have shadows? No we couldn’t find any shadows in this picture. d. Does this suggest that their shapes are flat or solid? Because there are no shadows we think that the shapes are flat.

  3. Task 1 Art Making Practice Two The art work that we chose was called table setting  under the lamp. Bonnard uses light as a major part of his paintings. For example they boy peeping through the door. He is letting the light into the room, and the cat in the corner. The Cat is in a slightly darker spot. He also shows that there is light because on some of the objects there is a lighter patch to indicate that there is light in the room.

  4. Task 2 Subjective Frame One Describe the emotions you feel when viewing Blake's prints and explain why. Blake’s prints make us feel like his prints are very religious and powerful but at the same time the prints are somehow kind-hearted. We feel this way because most of the pictures have something religious. The prints that Blake did look very powerful because they show very powerful scenes. They also look kind-hearted because there are no gory scenes in the prints.

  5. Task 2 Cultural Frame Two Explain how Blake explores spirituality in his art making. Blake explores spirituality in his artworks because they all depict something religious and spiritual because they all show angels or something else that could be considered spiritual. They all show angels doing something unique in each print and they’re also doing something that is really sweet looking and really innocent.

  6. Task 3 Conceptual Framework-Artist-Artwork Question What techniques and processes does Zofrea use to create these prints? Zofrea techniques are drawing in charcoal over the block wood and then he carves out some lines to make it stand out and also to make it look like it is popping out of the block wood. He describes the carving to be gouging out pieces to express the fauna and flora. With his paintings he wants to share the wildlife and the surroundings that we have in the bush with other people from around the world. So that people protect and to love and see the amazing scenery. Zofrea wants to show people what it is like to have such a amazing scenery around us and to appreciate it because not a lot of people can see it in their country let alone their backyards.

  7. Task 3 Conceptual Framework-Artist-Artwork-World Question 2 Explain how Zofrea represents the Australian Landscape in his printmaking. Zofrea represents the Australian Landscape in his prints by the plants that he puts into his artworks. He puts in the Native Australian animals as well as plants. The paintings he does are very realistic for example the Gum Trees he gives them a realistic look because on real Gum Trees the bark starts to fall off and then it falls down the tree still connected. It looks so real. With his plants he carves them out of block wood after he has finished the charcoal bit of it of the painting and by that he is making the leaves look like they are real and popping out of the painting. Zofrea makes his Australian paintings so that people can appreciate Australians bush and the gardens that people get in Australia.
