  2. Events • We Care Telethon in Kokomo - December 4th • NRG troop 2/5/11 • Star Wars nite with the Evansville IceMen Hockey Club 3/12

  3. New Members • Lisa is our newest member • Ian should be approved by the end of the weekend!

  4. Armor Day: Fort Wayne/ Nov. 28th • You've all been begging for it so here it is! ARMOR DAY!!! • Where: Books, Comics, and Things2212 MaplecrestRd.Fort Wayne, IN 46815 • When: Nov. 28th • Time: Noon We're gonna have a squad meeting starting at noon. Then bust out the armor, food, and bad jokes.

Anti-BullyingVoicemail Project • Simply call the phone number below and leave a voicemail with at least your first name, Legion ID or costume, and a short message of support like "Katie, I'm a girl who loves Star Wars and we rock!" Be creative, speak your mind. If the number doesn't work, try again until you get through. Female members outside the USA are also welcome to participate! • 1-813-778-5899 DEADLINE is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22 at 8pm Eastern time. • Sorry, female members only

Legion Trading Cards • Each person in the series will receive 2000 of their own card plus a full set of 50 cards. • Currently signing up for Series 6 • The cost is as follows: USA: $86.50 • Add your name to the sign up list. The list will remain open until we have filled all the way to series 10. At the same time you will pay a deposit of $20 to secure your place in then queue (see below).

  7. Corporate Events • From the LPRO and Council: Just an update on the larger corporate events that we've been doing for the likes of Bloomingdales, Stride Rite, Verizon, Build-A-Bear, DK, etc. It's clear that many of our volunteer members are not happy with the way these events have been organized and executed • We've heard you and we have been talking to Mary Franklin and Steve Sansweet at LFL who assure us that a lot of the problems are due to LFL's licensing team making plans or approving corporate events without consulting the fan relations team (Steve/Mary) or the 501st. While we always reserve the right to refuse any event, we typically try to please the fans, LFL and the general public because we're awesome that way. However, our good will has its limits. • As of the end of last week, Mary has asked LFL's licensing team to put a hold on future corporate events until we can figure out a better process.

Back with Bloodfin Campaign • Every year, we lose more members to inactivity than we gain in new membership. • This year, we want to reach out to all of our members who haven’t been able to join the fun, and encourage them to stop back on their own terms. • Do you know anyone you can contact?
