Primary Games4th – 9th June 2013 • Hosted by British International School Phuket • We are sending 31 students and 7 staff (1:4) • Coaches are: Mr Driscoll, Mr Coombs, MrHallam, Mr O’Donnell, Mr Baker, Miss Ward • Mr Grice will accompany the trip as an extra member of staff in case of any emergencies.

  2. The Games - Groups • The divisions: A1, A2, B1, B2, C.

  3. Tuesday 4th June • Pick up at Golden Lough (5am!) • Pick up at Singa Plaza (5.15am) • Drive to PVG airport (2.5 hours) • Group check-in • Go through security straight after check-in • Students to have free time once through security

  4. Travelling kit • Students will be given kit to travel in • T-Shirt • Shorts

  10. Thursday • 6:30am Breakfast • 7:45am Opening Ceremony at BISP • 8:00am Athletic Meet warm-up • 8:30am Athletic Meet 1st event • 1:00pm Lunch • 2pm Swim Meet warm-up • 2:30pm Swim Meet 1st Event • 6:30pm Swim Meet ends • 7:45pm Dinner at Hotel

  11. Student events • Will be finalised this week and then will not change (injury permitting) • Any changes from information sent home last week will be communicated to both students and parents.

  12. Friday • 7am Breakfast • 8:30am Tee Ball Competition starts • 12:30pm Lunch • 1:30pm Tee Ball Competition continues • 4pm Tee Ball ends – awards ceremony • 4:30pm • 7pm • Depart for Hotel • Dinner at Hotel

  13. Saturday • 7am Breakfast • 8.30am Football Competition starts • 12:00 Lunch • 1pm Football Competition continues • 4:30pm Football ends – awards ceremony • 6:30pm Gala Dinner, parent reception, closing, disco • 7:45pm Student Disco

  14. Sunday • Day out to Splash water fun park • Loads of water based of activities for students • Return to hotel for shower and collect bags • Depart for airport

  15. Monday • Land at PVG • Return to Suzhou @9.30am

  17. FOOD • Please encourage your children to be adventurous with their food • Will be a range of Thai and international food available • Students may need extra money for food at KL airport between flights if they wish to eat

  18. 1st Aid and medical info • 1st aider from DCSZ – Mr Driscoll and Mr Coombs • In Phuket – Qualified nurses and international hospitals near to the school. • Insurance information – Please update
