I think that Edgar Degas was an influential artist because he had several different art techniques. • Some of his art techniques were engraving, monotype, and photography. • Degas experimented with an range of techniques like breaking up surface textures with hatching, contrasting dry pastel with wet, and using gouache and watercolors to soften the contours of his figures.   8. Edgar Degas Vaidehi Patel My artwork contains a variety of colors blended together. The type of colors I used is oil pastels. • His artwork contains earth tones. • The type of style he used is hatching, and gouache. Comparison

  9. Degas’s Viewpoint I think that he would probably like my art because it has variety of colors and hues. There are some special effects like shadows and blending which makes you feel the texture.
