COBISS • COBISS, an organisational model of joining libraries into a uniform Library Information System (LIS) with • shared cataloguing • COBIB shared bibliographic database (union catalogue) • local bibliographic databases of participating libraries • a number of other functions • COBISS software applications • Cataloguing (monographs, serials, articles, other) • COBISS/OPAC • Local applications (Loan, Acquisitions, Reports, etc.) • Other applications (Researchers’ Bibliographies, etc.)

Researchers’ Bibliographies • Source: COBISS.SI and its shared bibliographic database COBIB.SI • For researchers and other groups: not only a bibliography, but also a tool for quantitative and qualitative measurement • Classification by typology • Algorithms permitting various categorisations (taken into account IF, SCIE, SSCI, A&H, JCR, WoS, etc.) • Results expressed in “points” • Ministries and universities may decide on how to interpret and use the application for their own purposes (performance evaluation, habilitation process, etc.)
