The Price for Friends • Be friendly; be a friend(Prov. 18:24) • Be unselfish(Phil.2:4) • Treat others as you would want to be treated(Matt. 7:12)
The Price for Financial Security • Work to have (Eph. 4:28; Prov.6:6-11; 30:25) • In order to own, you must work and not be lazy. • Be wise with your money(Luke 15:13) • The prodigal son wasted his possessions with prodigal living.
The Price for Knowledge • Must study his word! (2 Peter 1:5; 2 Tim. 2:15; Psalms 1)
The Price for Spiritual Strength • The requirements are similar to physical strength • Food (1 Pet. 2:2) • Excersise (1 Tim. 4:7) • Time (Heb.5:12
The Price for Heaven • Live like Christ (Phil. 1:21) • Abide in Christ (John 15:6) • Die in Christ (Rev. 14:13)
The Price for Salvation • Hear (Romans 10:17) so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God • Believe (Mark 16:16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be condemned. • Repent (Luke 13:3) I tell you no; but unless you repent you will likewise perish. • Confess (Matt 10:32) Therefore whoever confesses me before men, him will I also confess before my father in heaven • Baptized (Acts 22:16)And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized calling on the name of the Lord. • Remain Faithful (Rev 2:10)…be faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life.
