  1. Shauna Bottos- Colorful Interior Is a Reflection of Your Personality Eyes are attracted to color and when we enter into any new space the first thing we notice is the color of the room. Color can make or break your room’s look as it can have a positive or negative thought in an instance. Read on to find out all of the causes Shauna Bottosexplains why our brains can’t get ample colorful interiors. Every color speaks to your personality When deciding on building a home we might just have floor coverings, furniture, and lighting and that would be it but we go an extra step of decorating in desired colors and decor. We do that because everyone has a different personality and all places can’t entirely be the same because no two people have the same personality. Researchers at the University of Westminster have discovered a connection between color choice and personality traits. Let’s see what our color choices have to say about our personalities: Red: Goal-oriented, determined Orange: Energetic, happy Yellow: Outgoing but well-controlled, persuasive Green: Caring and helpful Blue: Analytical, cautious Purple: Comforting, values dignity

  2. White: Peaceful, often good at organization Black: Conservative, but also creative Brown: Practical, excels at accomplishing tasks Changes your mood A color can change the tone of a room, when we want a calming effect to room neutrals or light colors are the go-to choice. When you want people to get talking you usually go loud colors like red. Every room has its own story to speak and color does half the work by speaking the language of the room. As far as the field of color psychology is involved, color is the most simplistic way to get your aspired mood over. Keep these tips in mind as you decorate your interiors: •When you want a room to feel energetic warm colors feel best like red, yellow, and orange. •When you want the room to have a calm vibe then opt for cooler colors like blue, light purple, or green. •Add a little bit of pop of neutral colors to every space like black, white, gray, or brown. Creating a balance is important and never doing too much of anyone’s shade and doing research Shauna Bottos says is a good way to go about it.
