Egg drop

2. Purpose To see what materials keep the egg from breaking the best Hypothesis I think the egg tied to the balloon will not crack because the air in the balloon will decrease the weight of the egg.

3. Materials 9 boiled eggs 1 air filled balloon 7 sq ft of plastic rap

4. Procedure First we aired up the balloons and tied yarn to it. Then tie the other side to a piece of plastic that is holding an egg. (repeat that 2 more times) Next we wrapped 2 eggs in 2 sq ft of plastic rap. Finally we wrapped 3 eggs in 1 sq ft of plastic rap.

5. Results This shows how much the eggs cracked

6. Conclusions We think the eggs in the 2sq ft of plastic cracked the less because it had more covering ground it. Our hypothesis wrong ,we thought the eggs tied to the balloon would crack the less. But it cracked the most. The 1ft plastic that covered the eggs cracked less than the balloon but more than the 2ft because it had less covering.
