  3. Designing Container • Students were given materials to build a protective container for an egg drop – cotton balls, rubber bands, cardboard, newspaper, index cards, and tape • These ladies are using their materials wisely

  4. Testing • Students are anxious to test their containers Several of the eggs survived their flight from the ramp • Checking for slime

  5. Reflection • After testing, the children had several new ways they wanted to build their containers • More padding, parachutes, and landing devices were all new ideas
