What is Twitter? It’s a FREE Web 2.0 social media service that allows users to send & receive messages known as “tweets.” Reason #2 – Because it does not require a purchase order 100% FREE

We must connect with others doing the same work for kids

Together we are better. Reason #10 – Because over 2,000 educators in NPSD have great ideas that need to be shared and pushed further
Why Twitter? Comprehensive national education conferences are no longer permissible given the current fiscal climate Example: #ASCD12 Enjoy the best “tweets” from over 400 sessions in real time. Continue learning online using a conference hashtag well after the conference has ended. Reason #11 – Because budgets are without money for the best national conferences but greatly need the best professional development
