  3. Appearance • Long flippers • Leathery carcass • 1,200 -1,500 pounds • 6-8 feet • Biggest sea turtle • No claws or scales • Green or black skin with white or black spots • Skin is cut easily

  4. Eating Habits • Omnivores • Can be poisonous because of diet • Eats jellyfish, plants, and soft body sea animals

  5. Behavior & Interesting Facts • If mother feels in danger leaves nest • Eggs flexible • 60-100 in nest • 7 weeks to hatch • Predators: killer whales and tiger sharks • Second fastest sea turtle
