4. Shihezi University have been recognized by the Ministry of Education, P.R China to enroll international students for the MBBS degree course in an English medium. Shihezi University is also listed in The World Directory of Medical Universities published by WHO. English is the medium of language to study for the MBBS course and Chinese is a compulsory subject. The degree course is covered of two years of basic medical science, three years of clinical science training and one year of internship. 6. The MBBS Degree Course is of 5 years + 1 year internship. The students can do internship at the university hospitals or in their own home country in a hospital which is recognized by the Ministry of Health of their home country. If any of the MBBS students wish to do internship in the hospitals of the university in China, they must pass HSK examination, as per regulations of MOE of China before the 6th year internship. 7. Eligibility:- All applicants must be 18 years of age or above. Applicants must present an official copy of their high school diploma and/or additional higher learning certificates. Applicants must have an excellent academic record in the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 8. Every year the students arrive from India and receive a warm welcome at the airport. We arrange a special bus from the airport to the University. All the senior students help the new students to welcome them in the hostel soon after they arrive, Shihezi University.
