Aim of Community Team To enhance the quality of life for RN/RM (Tri-Service) personnel and their families within the community, through the provision of support, information and social activities which respond to identified need.

Families and Friends of Deployed Units - FAFDU • Is a project aimed at supporting service • families who remain at home whilst their • loved one is away on deployment. Social • get-togethers are arranged on a monthly • basis, either a Saturday or Sunday, • sometimes at our local Community Centres • as well as trips out and about to local • attractions.

WHAT IS RNCOM Dedicated website set up for development of a unit specific family community, via the internet. The object is to promote and welcome all RN/RM families to become part of the extended naval family. Thus creating a support network for families at times of need and heightened tension.
